Which foundation shade should I choose?
Satin Finish Foundation runs from 100, the fairest, to 112, the deepest. Shade 103 suits light to light-medium skin and 109 suits medium tones.
Match to your jawline in natural daylight rather than your hand or your wrist — the skin there is closest to your true tone. If you're between two shades, size down in winter and up in summer.
What order do I apply complexion products in?
Foundation or cushion first, blended outwards from the centre of the face. Bronzer next, where the sun would naturally hit — forehead, cheekbones, jawline. Blush last, on the apples of the cheeks, blended up towards the temple.
Powder products go over cream ones, never underneath.
Bronzer or blush — which do I need?
They do different jobs. Bronzer adds warmth and gentle definition; blush adds colour and life. Most people look best with both, used lightly. If you only buy one, blush does more to make a face look awake.
